This shows the iron rich soil of Rugiens very clearly, and the power and length remind you why the locals consider this site the best in the village, and as their own near Grand Cru. Today it is just opening from its shut-down period, and beginning to show real elegance and length, with that classic Pommard combination of cherries and meaty notes.
