From the Sancerre appellation of the Loire Valley, this consistently delicious sauvignon blanc is produced by the fourth generation of the Vacheron family.

Early to adopt organic agriculture in 2003, the exacting winemakers went even further the following year by adopting biodynamic agriculture (an extreme form of organic gardening that looks upon the soil and the farm as living organisms). To concentrate the flavor, Vacheron also severely restricts the yields of each vine. The winery's unique soil of equal parts limestone and flint, further adds to this sancerre's complexity. Limestone contributes to balanced acidity, while flint provides a crisp aroma and mineral-laced tang.
