The Grassi family’s I Fabbri estate in Lamole has roots dating back to the 1600s. Revived in the 1990s by sisters Susanna and Maddalena Grassi, the 9-hectare vineyard sits on restored terraces at 550-650 meters above sea level. Certified organic and biodynamic, the estate follows sustainable practices, with native yeast fermentation and hand-harvested grapes. Their Chianti Classico Riserva, made from 100% Sangiovese, is aged for 12 months in French oak.
