Pierre Baillette Champagne Premier Cru Le Village NV
We met Lucie Cheurlin, who runs Pierre Baillette in the Premier Cru village of Trois-Puits, just south of Reims. She farms organically and produces focused, mineral-driven Champagnes that reflect the chalky soils of the Montagne de Reims. We didn’t share a language (our French is limited, pardon !) — but her wines spoke ours: pure, balanced, and unmistakably expressive.
