From volcanic hills in Breganze, this Vespaiola comes from some of the oldest vines farmed by Cristian Furlan, a producer working on a small scale with a focus on precision. The variety, mentioned in church records since the 18th century, is named for the wasps that appear when the fruit is fully ripe. This selezione is made in very limited quantities, using only the best clusters after careful hand inspection. The wine shows ripe apricot and nectarine, citrus notes of lime and grapefruit, and a subtle saline edge from the volcanic soils. The palate is balanced and clean, the finish long, with a touch of roundness softening its bright acidity.
