Giacomo Baraldo is part of the new generation in Tuscany — working high-altitude vineyards on clay-limestone soils near San Casciano dei Bagni and focusing on precision over power. He trained abroad, including in Burgundy, and brings that finesse back to Sangiovese. Fermented in the vineyard with native yeasts and finished in barrel, steel, and bottle, the wine is lean and energetic: red cherry, plum skin, subtle herbs, clean tannins, and a dry, savory finish.
