From a small family winery started in 1999 by Dimas García Canedo, now farmed by his children Elena and Marcos.  This bottling is from a blend of different plots in an effort to achieve a balanced, fresh, crushable red wine, earthy and structured, with classic licorice and balsamic notes, black and red fruits, with minty tones – cherry candy.

RP 92 " The benchmark for young unoaked Mencía from the valley, the 2022 Pago de Valdoneje is fruit-driven and juicy, with notes of licorice and wild berries and herbs. It has 13.5% alcohol and a silky palate with very fine tannins and clean flavors"
