Made by Louis Billard, who trained at Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Georges Roumier before starting his own project. This is classic village Gevrey done with restraint: dark cherry and raspberry fruit, iron and crushed stone, and a subtle savory edge. Medium-bodied but structured, with fine tannins and a mineral, slightly smoky finish. Serious, food-driven Pinot Noir that reflects the appellation without excess weight or oak.
