Sokol Blosser Redland Cuvee Pinot Noir 2022
Back in the closing days of 1970, Bill Blosser and Susan Sokol Blosser—armed with a ’68 VW Camper, a few dreams, and zero farming credentials—stumbled upon an abandoned prune orchard southwest of Portland. They didn’t know much about winemaking, but what they lacked in experience, they made up for with an unshakable passion for Pinot Noir. Soon enough, they planted their first vines, carving out a spot as true Oregon wine pioneers. Fast forward to today, and you’ve got the Redland Cuvée: a nose that brings red raspberry, rhubarb, and pomegranate, unfolding on the palate with fresh currant and a hint of baking spice. This wine stays lively and bright—a testament to that same wild spirit that started it all.
