Domenico Almondo now heads this 15 hectare Roero based estate, producing traditional wines full of terroir-driven nature. Hailing from Piedmont’s Roero region, ‘Bricco delle Ciliegie’ comes to us from Giovanni Almondo, named after the vineyard from which it grows. Vines are deeply rooted into sandy, limestone oils, with fruit vinified in an 80/20 combination of steel and oak. This varietal Arneis depicts the insanely high potential for quality Roero whites, showing flavors of bright citrus, bitter almond, and juicy pear.
