Emmanuel Haget carries on a legacy of the work and land of Philippe and Francois Gourdon, the maverick grower/winemakers of Chateau La Tour Grise. The Gourdon's have generously passed on their philosophy, tradition and methods to Emmanuel and several other younger winemakers. Haget farms these Cabernet Franc vines from clay silt over green chalked limestone biodynamically. Concentrated red and darker berry, savory, wild herbal aromas which lead to red currant and blackberry fruit, both pronounced white and black pepper and spicy dried herbs which lead to a subtle mineral finish on the palate.
