La Collina Quaresimo Lambrusco
La Collina is a worker-run cooperative founded in 1975 in the hills outside Reggio Emilia. More than just a winery, it began as a social project—bringing together young people and those recovering from addiction to build something rooted in land, labor, and care. Today, they farm biodynamically and produce honest, expressive wines alongside grains, vegetables, and Parmigiano. This Lambrusco is bright and dry, with sharp red fruit, brisk acidity, and fine bubbles. Made with traditional grapes and a touch of frozen must to kick off fermentation naturally, it’s a lively, unfussy wine meant for the table—perfect with salumi, fried things, or pizza night.
