Nonna's Recipe

Here are the perfect wines to go with Emanuele's grandmother's recipe for Spaghetti al Ragù (see recipe below):

Add [a glug of olive] oil, [a pat of] butter, [a diced] onion [to a sauté pan]

Brown until translucent

Add [1 lb ground] beef

with a little diced [1] carrot (basil & sage, if you have it)

some people add a little [splash of] white wine 

[& simmer until alcohol evaporates]

& now the [1 6 oz. can] tomato purée’ & a little [1] bouillon cube

 [simmer for 1 hour]’

[For the pasta prep, you’re own your own.]
