Cathy Corison has been making Cabernet her way since the 1980s—long before Napa became known for brawn over balance. Her wines are rooted in restraint, letting the vineyard and vintage speak without interference. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is fresh and quietly expressive, with lifted aromatics of black cherry, blueberry, and a touch of cedar and spice. The palate is layered but precise—silky boysenberry fruit, fine tannins, bright acidity, and a mineral finish edged with citrus peel and tangerine zest. It spent 20 months in French oak, half of it new, adding just enough structure without overshadowing the fruit. A beautiful example of Napa Cabernet with grace, clarity, and the kind of longevity that doesn’t need to shout.
