Punt e Mes or Point and a half in Piedmontese dialect, refers to its blend: one part vermouth and one-half a part quina liqueur. Combining the unctuousness of a traditional red vermouth with bitter herbs (think Campari), the blend is a zippy alternative to plain red vermouth in cocktails like Americano, Manhattan or Negroni.
