This is the estate’s main Barolo, made from the Gabutti cru in Serralunga, where the vines face south and southwest. After a long fermentation and years of aging in large old casks, it’s bottled without filtration and released over four years after harvest. It’s a serious, old-school Barolo—earthy, structured, and built to age. Gabutti gives it that signature Serralunga depth: truffle, dark fruit, and firm tannins. It’s not flashy, just honest and powerful. This is a serious collector’s bottle, and we finally got our hands on a small amount.
