Couvreur Special Vatting Whiskey
A rare and delicious whisky. Michel Couvreur was a Belgium-born negotiant who imported Scotch whiskies to his facilities in Burgundy, France, where they underwent slow aging in sherry casks. They are then brought to bottle strength with water from Loch Katrine. While this may be unusual to say the least, the results are simply excellent. Michel Couvreur Special Vatting Malt Whisky merges three unique single casks--aged 10, 12, and 14 years--into a single, distinctive, and utterly entrancing dram. Composed of 60% 14-year-old malt, 30% 12-year-old malt, and 10% 10-year-old malt. This is special stuff, while it lasts.
