Dalia Maris Piccolo Bianco 2023
“Piccolo” is Giampaolo Venica’s side project—made only when the vintage calls for it. It comes from the same vineyards as his top wine, but with a different lens. The idea is borrowed from Hermitage: vinify each plot separately, taste everything, and blend only what tells the right story. The fruit comes from old vines, organically and biodynamically farmed, and is aged in the same barrels used by Chave. The result is a white that’s salty, textured, and quietly serious—full of orchard fruit, stony minerality, and that signature Friulian snap.
Only 50 six-packs made it to NY. We got two.
