Ilatium Morini Valpolicella 2016
One of our favorite Thursday night pizza wines. Started 40 years ago as a tiny fattoria growing indigenous varietal for wine made by the community coop winery, Ilatium Morini has grown into a 40 hectare farm, split between Soave and Valpolicella and passed on to the 7 siblings who currently share it. Lighter-bodied with the rich fruit, cocoa & tobacco flavors for which Venetian reds are so famous. Also pairs well with beef, pasta, veal and venison.
