Agrícola La Misión is a winery led by Elena Pantaleoni, known for her work at La Stoppa. With a strong connection to Chile, where her mother has lived for over 20 years, Elena visited the family property, Fundo Tomenelo, in the Maule Valley in 2015. Inspired by the local vineyards, she partnered with her friend Nicola Massa to create wine from the País grape, introduced to Chile by Spanish missionaries in the 1500s. In 2016, they began producing wine using traditional methods: dry farming, native plants, old barrels, hand harvesting, foot pressing, and manual destemming with a zaranda. Their wine, Pisador, emerged from these local collaborations, aiming to preserve the region’s heritage and offer fairer conditions to growers, countering the low prices typically paid by the Chilean wine industry. 

A medium-bodied red wine with soft tannins and dark fruit notes of black plum and blackberry. Macerated for 20 days and aged in 300-liter old barrels, it pairs perfectly with red meats, stews, and casseroles. Ideal for both casual barbecues with friends and more formal dinners.
