Man-in-cor, literally ‘hand on heart’, is one of the leaders of the biodynamic farming movement. Among the most prominent Tyrolean families for 800 years, Count Enzenberg built a state-of-the-art underground cellar housing all phases of wine production. Tucked behind the 1608 manor house, the hidden facility is also off grid. All here is meticulous, even the wild flowers among the vines. The resulting wines are exquisite and technically impeccable. The Riserva della Contessa is full-bodied yet with bracing acidity and redolent of Alpine flowers.
