Pasquet Pineau de Charentes

A delicious happy accident. Legend goes that a winemaker mistakenly put some grape juice into a barrel in which there was already some brandy. And so was born this delicious mix. Pasquet’s Pineau de Charentes is high in acid & appropriately sweet. Enjoy on the rocks, with a twist, or with a splash of something sparkling. he Pasquet family’s small 7.5 hectare vineyard is nestled in the tiny township of Éraville, in the prestigious Grande Champagne, and the property has been producing Cognac since 1730. The family operation was passed on to Jean-Luc by his uncle Albert, who left Jean-Luc with eaux-de-vie dating back to the late 1800s. Their broad lineup ranges from terrific ‘starter’ Cognacs to the rarest of the rare ultra-old blends.
