New in 2023, this wine is crafted from Grenache vines planted in deep ancient sand in 1958 and lovingly tended by Fiona Wood. It presents a lighter style of Grenache with fine, detailed tannins achieved through judicious whole bunch fermentation. The name references a Washington D.C. post-hardcore band, which in turn was inspired by a Stravinsky ballet that incited a full-blown riot in Paris, ultimately drawing from ancient pagan rituals where a “Chosen One” was sacrificed to the Earth by dancing until death.
