From Giacomo Baraldo — a winemaker rapidly earning attention for a cleaner, more precise style of Tuscan red. After time in Burgundy and New Zealand, he returned home to work high-altitude vineyards on clay-limestone soils around San Casciano dei Bagni. “Il Bossolo” is a single-vineyard Sangiovese fermented with native yeasts and aged in older barrels. Bright red fruit, plum skin, and subtle herbs, with fine tannins and a mineral edge. Medium-weight, focused, and modern — Tuscany with clarity rather than heaviness.
